Medical transportation at no charge for WellMed Medicare-eligible patients. Transportation to & from: Primary Care Visits, Treatment Centers, Hospital (Non-Emergency), Specialist Visits, etc. Wheelchair accessible; also offer a wheelchair for those patients who do not have one. Ambulance: Vehicles operated by certified EMTs & transport those patients who need a stretcher.

I have used this service for over 10 years. They are always on time, the drivers are very helpful and courteous. I have had no trouble scheduling as emergency ride just 24hrs ahead. I typically schedule a week ahead and have NEVER been turned down. I just love Comfort Care. They are the anchor of my healthcare routine.

I have been using this service for a few years and I am in a wheel chair and have a care giver that comes along with me. I always have great friendly drivers and have never been disappointed and they are always on time

Chris Gleason was our driver today. HE took us to my appt. and then happened to be the one to take us home. HE IS EXCELLENT. HE NEEDS A RAISE AND I WOULD VOTE HIM PERSON OF THE MONTH. I was nervous today for my appointment and he had humor to help relax me. If you are in his care, he will take care of you. I really appreciated him very much.

I have to honestly say I have enjoyed all my rides with Comfort Care. The drivers are pleasant and so are the persons setting up the time for you. Sometimes you can get a ride but sometimes you can't, it's to be expected. If you get to your place being dropped off, all of my Dr.s and PT and been more then understanding. I think the only thing that needs to be changed is the company have the cars detailed, some of the seats could be cleaned. You know I had a New Yorker from my Grandfather and he had plastic put on the seat to keep from accidents because he knew he had 2 little granddaughters. Just a thought for the future vehicles. I have been using the service for a while and I am very pleased. I understand Comfort Care has other patients to pick up other than myself, so I understand there is a wait(especially when you are relying on someone else) and I don't expect to snap my fingers and the car pulls up. The wait time are very reasonable and the drivers I had try not to make you wait long. With realistic expectations and patience one will quickly realize this service is a blessing.

I've noticed the wait times for phone calls and pick ups is very very long. I would give 1 star, except every driver I've ever encountered with our patients has been extremely patient and kind.

Some bad drivers that make a lot of agencies look bad but in reality take this ride as a blessing not a required thing. By the way the staff's procedure for returning home I thought was to send a email measage for pick up...it's not comfort care playing games.NOBODY WANTS TO be rushed so please don't rush any driver

Surprised that one needs to be with certain insurance group for ride service to be provided. When some cannot afford extra cost for advantage plan offers. Some Seniors even on Medicare find themselves not able to meet the costs required for services. Either we are misinformed or afraid of unknown changes for services provided. So we do not get medical,dental,vision due to not enough income after living expenses/obligations paid.

I give it a Big Fat Zero policy states call 24-72 hrs ahead of appointment she stated she was already booking for August- September And Was Not Able To Schedule me for pickup

I just returned from a ride with this agency and I am in tears. he driver gunned the van through all streets, jerked to stops as well as starts. I have not experienced this with any other driver except this one.

Wait time for scheduling a pick up is ridiculous. Waited over 30 minutes for someone to answer, then the patient had to wait another hour for her ride to come pick her up.

PATIENT IN FOR MEDICAL SERVICES AND CALLED FOR PATIENT FOR RETURN SERVICE HOME. WAS ON HOLD FOR OVER 30 MINS WHICH IS NOT PRACTICAL WHILE STILL TRYING TO TAKE CARE OF OTHER PATIENTS. VERY POOR PHONE TREE SERVICE, NEED MORE STAFF OR UPDATED PHONE SYSTEM.

Very disappointed. this has happened various times, where I call in for them to pick up my mother as it is hard for me to be getting out of work and they can't find when the appointment was called in to be scheduled. So there is no one to pick her up. And today I called in to verify for tomorrow and again they do not have her on the schedule and will not schedule her in until after 12 noon yet her appointment is at 9am. Why would they try to schedule her in at 12noon if her appointment is at 9am???

Drivers have always been helpful and pleasant. Office staff needs an overhaul. You can be put on hold for a very long time when calling for a pickup or calling about a driver who hasn’t shown up!

I made a complaint about a late pick-up to go home. It was a dispatch problem! You have controllable and uncontrollable situation's. This was very controllable! Yes, thing's happen that can cause a significant delay. I received a call about this complaint the same day I complained. We discussed the detail's. She said they were upset about this. Was told I would get a call back the next day. Still have not heard back. This was last week when I complained. When I called the local office they looked up about my complaint. Was not in the system! So...people they do not care! This company needs to go out of business. This company is not living up to my expectation's! Driver's are dangerous too! It's your decision people. I can only hope you make the right one. Please, take care of yourself's.

The first time I tried Comfort Care, the driver was over an hour late, 30 minutes past my appointment so I called an Uber. The second time, the driver was again late; each time I called I was told he would be there in 10 minutes, then 5 minutes. He finally came one hour after his originally scheduled time and 20 minutes after my appointment. I'm done with Comfort Care, and I will report this to my insurance company, as though it would make a difference. Do not count on this company. It will let you down.

So I'm writing this based on my experience with my mom. She is in a wheelchair and has very limited mobility. So we need this help. As of lately I have noticed a ridiculous wait time to schedule a ride. (20 -35) minimum. Then it takes them over an hour to get you. And yesterday they didnt send the wheelchair accessible van. At that point the driver went on to say that he would handle it but he would also have to wait on hold to schedule another ride, and we would have to wait for another for someone to get to my mother. This is unacceptable service!!! We had to figure out our own way to get home. THANKS COMFORT CARE!! AWFUL !!

I've been using this service since I was released from the hospital. I've had to reschedule SO many appointments due to drivers no call no show up, showing up late, and also showing up up 1/2 to 2 hours late picking me up from the doctor's appointment. The drivers have to catch the backlash, but it's solely the dispatch's fault. It takes 20 to 30 minutes to even get someone on the phone. Also, half of the time they take your information down wrong. They also fail to give their outside sources limited information so their unaware of what they're getting into when they pick someone up. If Comfort Care is not willing to accommodate the insured covered patients, they don't need to be in business.

When i first started getting rides everything was ok.For the last 7/9 rides its been a living hell.Sometimes after seeing the doctors for a procedure u may feel bad and ready to ho lay down .Its totally impossible when u sit in a lobby r outside and can't even get the dispatchers to answer the phone for a return ride home.Friday after getting injections for pain i sit outside waiting for an hour for them to pick up no one ever did i had to even call the driver the doctor & staff got off work walked right pass me the office closed.Eventually i called a uber another wait - plus money out of pocket. Im not sure what the problem is with them but this is unacceptable .
