The Li'l Excelerator Handcycle is a hand propelled cycle for younger riders with mobility or lower extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. Designed for children aged five to fifteen or small adults and 48 to 62 inches tall, this lightweight, three-wheeled cycle has a 7-speed hub with reverse braking, enabling the user's hands to remain on the cranks. And, with fully adjustable chain tension idler, there is no need to add or remove chain links with crank height adjustments. The cycle's upright frame is made of oval tube, powder-coated carbon steel. The fore and aft sliding seat has adjustable-tension seat upholstery, fold-over back upholstery, adjustable back height, and is available in 12- and 14-inch seat widths and heights. Designed with 20-inch wheels and knobby tires, this cycle also is equipped with height- and angle-adjustable dual footrests with safety straps. Other features include ergonomic vertical crank handles, a parking brake, a clear chain guard, and coaster brakes.
