A 501(c)(3) free clinic utilizing retired health care professionals. A medical & dental clinic providing free services to low-income, uninsured residents of Comal County. Provides quality, compassionate care in a faith-based, caring environment. A full-time nurse practitioner and medical assistant serve patients during regular business hours, and physicians volunteer their services to extend the number of patients served. Part of a national alliance of clinics started by the Volunteers in Medicine Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting communities in developing free clinics throughout the country for the working uninsured. Among the services offered are primary medical care, routine physicals, blood tests, gynecology services. Dental care is for pain management.
