Family Violence Prevention Services, Inc. (FVPS) has been helping victims of domestic violence in San Antonio since 1977. FVPS began as an emergency shelter for women and children & now offers a complete array of shelter, transitional housing, counseling, children’s, & legal services to help individuals & families recover from the pain & long-term effects of domestic violence. 24-hour, 365 day, hotline to provide immediate assistance to victims of family violence. Crisis calls include an assessment of critical needs, crisis intervention, education, information and referrals. * Comprehensive Case Management. * Children’s Program: BWCS Children’s Program offers an array of activities,including recreational & social activities, counseling & discussions about family violence. * Individual Counseling: Adults & children are provided with individual counseling by professionals with extensive training in family violence services. * Emergency Food & Clothing. * Legal Advocacy & Referral: legal advocacy onsite; staff attorneys provide legal services at the shelter related to divorce, custody, & other family law matters at no cost to the client. * Primary Medical & Dental Care: Residents & their children are provided with primary medical & dental care through a full service clinic located on BWCS premises.

My daughter is lost and needs help asap before she ends up going back to the perpetrator. I was a victum of family violence and stayed in the shelter now i have a child that is going thru the same thing and i have no room for her to stay and dont want that young man stalking her at my house.
