Offers a service to low income women in the community by helping them move from dependency to self-sufficiency. Classes are offered twice a year and run for ten weeks at no cost to the participant. The current program is being offered at two sites with a curriculum that includes basic computer skills, money management, communication skills, career overview, family and childcare, along with others. At the end of the course, CWJC makes job placement and/or continuing their education a priority for each graduate of the program. At the beginning of the class, each participant is partnered with a mentor who guides them and follows their progress for a minimum of one year after the course as she travels the road from dependency to self-sufficiency.

9:00am -2:30pm Monday to Thursday, 12 week course
