BCFS / Services to At Risk Youth information provided by: the Alamo Area Council of Governments

Free family counseling. Aims to reduce family conflict and prevent the problems of delinquent behaviors, runaway, truancy and child abuse by helping youths and their families learn to resolve crises and develop coping and parenting skills. Free family and youth counseling (available in English and Spanish) , Crisis intervention (on-call counselor can be reached 24/7) * Goals: To help families and youth develop coping and parenting skills, To identify youth and family strengths and areas of resiliency, To strengthen and stabilize families by helping them to solve problems together. * Who Is Eligible: Youth ages 0 to 17 and their families, who are experiencing: Family conflict (minor issues to more severe) , Who have run away, Who have been truant, Who have delinquent behavior (non-adjudicated), Who are not currently involved with Child Protective Services.
